The (Un)learning Lab - a space created for those who are done following the rules

You can’t change the world while still operating within the old system.

The (Un)learning Lab is where you start rewriting rules that actually work for you  - so you can live, work AND make the difference you want without selling your soul.

A woman with shoulder-length red hair, wearing a blue sweatshirt with red text that says "CHOOSE LOVE," sitting at a table with a notebook and placed hands. She is smiling slightly and looking to the side in a cozy indoor setting with a bookcase and potted plants in the background.

You don’t need another bloody beige course, productivity hack or so-called-self-help book. You know your shit already. That’s how you’ve got to where you are after all.

You want to do great things. Make a difference to the people, places and communities you work and live with. It’s your purpose that drives you - so much so that you’ve forgotten that you can be your own person while doing it.

The hacks will tell you that you need to do more, be more, change to fit in. That’s the only way you’ll succeed.

Of course you listen. You care a lot.

But the reason it still feels off? The reason why you’re angry, frustrated, overwhelmed, resentful, exhausted, feeling like a shadow of yourself?

Because the wrong people have been writing the rules for too long (and doing absolute fuckeries!) - and as a result we’ve fallen into the trap of thinking we’re the ones getting it wrong.

We don’t want to play their game anymore. So it’s time we rewrote the rules!

The rules you’re following weren’t consciously chosen.

They were inherited, rewarded, reinforced.

And they might have worked at times… until they didn’t.

Now they’re costing you.

They’re standing in the way of you living and leading as you want. They’re impacting relationships. They’re making you second-guess every.little.thing!

And the problem is:
you can’t (un)learn rules you’re still being ‘rewarded’ for living by - at least not on your own.

Lee Griffith, wearing denim jumpsuit and yellow cardigan, sat on concrete sleeper and is surrounded by in bloom flowers. She's looking off camera, head perched on her hands.

You want a space where you can…

  1. Figure out what's actually getting in your way - not the surface stuff, the thing underneath it

  2. Work out what you actually think - separate from what you've been told to think

  3. Make decisions that feel like yours - not inherited, not sense-checked against everyone else

  4. Do the work without having to explain yourself, justify your pace or perform progress for the group

  5. Leave with more agency than you arrived with - and know exactly what you need to do next

This is where The (Un)learning Lab comes in…

The Lab is not a programme to follow. There’s no homework, nothing to catch-up on or add to the overwhelm.

It’s a BS-free space to:

  • notice the rules that are ruling you

  • question whether they still make sense

  • experiment with doing things differently

  • rebuild self-trust and self-choice through action, not performance.

You’ll be alongside a small group of people who get it: people who care deeply, think critically and don’t want to opt out of responsibility – but do want to stop disappearing inside it.

This is work you do for yourself - but not in isolation.

How it works (without turning into “another thing”)

The Lab is outcome-led, not time-led.

There’s one live session a month.

Everything else is designed to fit into the life you already have.

Reset session (90 minutes)

1

Each round kicks off with a reset session. This is where we do the work to figure out the loudest rule that’s impacting you right now.

We’ll review:

  • what’s going on for you right now

  • where you’re over-functioning

  • which rules are quietly shaping your choices

  • what you want the next three months to feel like.

We don’t set goals or woo ourselves into manifesting the ‘perfect’ vision.

Instead, we focus on agreeing a direction that’s uniquely yours.

The reset provides the foundation for your monthly experiments.

Monthly experiment prompt

2

An optional live session where you can:

  • reflect on what your experiment is showing you

  • course-correct if something isn't working

  • share (if you want)

  • be seen without having to explain yourself.

It provides a pause that can change how you move. Perfect if you need a boost of accountability or a space to reset.

The mid-month meet ups give you the space to talk in community - to discuss the challenges and general BS that’s happening in life, in the world - to be seen and heard. Because the rule makers will try and make you believe that you’re the problem - and it feels so bloody good when you realise you’re not!

Each month (for three months), you’ll receive a written prompt to help you create your own small experiment.

You’ll decide for yourself:

  • what you try

  • how visible it is

  • what ‘success’ even means.

You'll set your experiment and share it in one sentence - the rule you're working with and what you're going to try. This will help you stay accountable.

3

Mid-month check-in (60 minutes)

End-of-month reflection

4

I share a written reflection on my own experiment - what shifted, what didn’t, what surprised me and what I’ll be doing next (if anything) as a result.

You’re invited to reflect too, in your own way. The point isn’t performance, but pattern-spotting.

Quiet community space

5

There's a private Telegram group where the Lab lives between sessions. It's where you post your experiment commitment at the start of each month, share what you're noticing and hear what others are sitting with.

It’s a space for thoughtful people doing their own work - together.

You'll need to download Telegram if you don't already have it - I'll send you the link before the start date.

Bonus content

6

You’ll get full access to (Un)learning over on Substack - all the free and paid-for posts, including the archive, for the duration you’re in the Lab.

The replays and monthly experiment prompts live within a dedicated section just for Lab members. This means you can choose to receive the monthly posts via email or you can read within the substack app. You’ll also be able to post comments and chat with others underneath each post.

What shifts?

Three months in the Lab, here's what people find:

They've named the rule that was quietly running them - not as a concept, but in their actual life, specific moments. They've tested it. They have evidence from their own experience - not a framework someone else gave them - that they can do things differently. The second-guessing doesn't disappear, but it loses some of its authority. Decisions start coming from somewhere more solid.

The Lab doesn’t promise you an unrealistic transformation story – we’re not interested in marketing bro BS. The change will be quieter than that. But it's real, personal to you and it sticks.

A safe space with no judgement, where you’re encouraged and guided to break free of the rule that’s holding you back. And if you don’t know what’s holding you back - this will help you find it. It’s not something that needs to overwhelm you. It’s a supportive space that enables you to take the steps you need, no matter how small they might feel.

And it doesn’t have to end after three months. (Un)learning isn’t a quick fix, it’s small experimental actions and a lot of questioning that builds lasting change over time. The longer you stay in the Lab the more you strengthen that muscle.

Is this for you?

The (Un)learning Lab is not for everyone - and that’s deliberate.

I’m fed up of signing up for things only to realise it’s nothing like I imagined – or indeed needed! So I want to be clear that The (Un)learning Lab is not…

  • another course

  • a mastermind with forced intimacy

  • a productivity bootcamp

  • a place to “fix” yourself

  • a space to perform insight.

If you’re looking for certainty, a plan to follow, or someone to tell you what to change - this will frustrate you.

That’s intentional.

But it is for you if:

  • the work you do matters deeply to you

  • you carry responsibility most people don’t see

  • you’ve built an identity around being capable and reliable - and it’s starting to cost you

  • you suspect the rules you’re living by once helped you succeed, but now keep you stuck

  • you don’t need fixing - you need space to think, test and decide differently

If you’re reading this and thinking ‘I don’t need another solution - I need somewhere I can stop performing’ then yes, this is for you.

Practicalities

The (Un)learning Lab runs three times a year (starting Jan / May / Sept )

Live sessions: one per month

Emails: two per month

Community: chat on Telegram and full access to (Un)learning on substack

Group size: capped at no more than 12 people

Investment: £150 for the quarter - or £400 for the year (three rounds). Prices will increase as the Lab develops.

Book your space by Monday 25 May to get a bonus 1:1 strategy session with me (worth £295). We’ll plot out your next 90 days so you have a clear plan of action to tackle what matters most - meaning that your experiments within the Lab will be even more targeted to support the change you want to make.

Why now?

The (Un)learning Lab isn’t self-care. It’s mission critical.

People need you. They need your agency, your real voice, your decisions.

Not a version performing someone else’s commitment.

If nothing changes, you’ll keep on… holding… absorbing… performing… pushing…

Not because you don’t know better - but because the rules you’re living by won’t let you stop.

This is your chance to interrupt that pattern quietly, deliberately and on your own terms, without the jazz hands or feeling like you’re having to start from scratch.

The rules aren't waiting for you to be ready. They're running today - in the decision you avoided, the thing you absorbed that wasn't yours, the moment you second-guessed yourself out of something you actually knew.

You can keep living by rules you didn't choose.

Or you can spend three months finding out what happens when you don't.

Still got a question? That’s fine. I can’t promise to have all the answers but drop me a line and I’ll try my best 😊.

Not sure where to start?

If one specific thing feels loud, urgent or repetitive → Book an Intervention.
We interrupt the pattern and you move forward.

If you’re at a pivot and need clarity & direction → Choose the Blueprint.
We map the rules and design your next 90 days.

If you know your whole way of working and living needs to evolve → Apply for the Rebuild.
We don’t just plan differently. We live differently.

If you want space to experiment, reflect and recalibrate alongside others → Join The (Un)learning Lab.
A three-month identity reset where you question the rules, test real-life experiments and rebuild your agency in community - without committing to long-term 1:1 work.
